IPOCORPO

IpoCorpo originates as a reflection on the tension between appearance and essence in contemporary society. It responds to a cultural framework that privileges the visible, often at the expense of the individual’s inner dimension.

Working between abstraction and figuration, Lia develops a visual language that translates emotional and psychological states into form. Through gesture, material, and composition, her paintings give presence to what is typically intangible, exploring the relationship between body and psyche, surface and depth.

At its core, IpoCorpo is an investigation into the unseen aspects of human experience. It extends beyond the canvas through SoulPortrait sessions and workshops, conceived as spaces for introspection and self-awareness, where participants are invited to engage with their inner landscape.

The work reflects on the complexity of the human condition, addressing both vulnerability and resilience. It proposes a space of contemplation, encouraging a deeper consideration of identity, perception, and the subtle layers that shape individual and collective experience.
